Festival Yaveria, September 8 – 14, various venues
This is the fifth edition of this festivalhttps://bogotapost.wordpress.com/wp-admin/post-new.php that mixes music, art, gastronomy and design. Matik-Matik, Locus, Latino Power and others will host events over the week, which closes with the La Madame design fair.

Expo Mustache, September 11-13, Museo del Chico
A design fair with a thoroughly dog-friendly vibe, offering the chance to spend the day with family or friends while 62 independent designers showcase their work.

Mercado Pirata, September 12-13, La Pinta Hostel
Clothes, jewellery, paintings, artisanal goods and music make up this weekend market in a Chapinero hostel.

Bogota Fashion Week, September 15-19, Aeropuerto El Dorado
Bogota’s international airport is perhaps an odd location for the pilot of the capital’s fashion week, which hopes to become a regular annual event and take on Medellin as the country’s fashion centre.

Festival de cine frances, September 16-30, various venues
The 14th edition of the French film festival offers visitors the chance to get to know some of the best in contemporary French cinema. After Bogota, the festival visits 19 cities across Colombia.

Ciclo de cine marroqui, until September 18, various venues
A cinema festival, brainchild of Moroccan poet El Arbi El Harti, which will take place simultaneously in Bogota and Medellin. It will include nine feature-length films from the North African country as well as three documentaries and eight shorts, centring on democracy, modernity and gender issues.

Promoting Colombia’s creative talent, La Divina Feria brings together some of the best national independent design with great live music.

The Budweiser Electronic Culture Conference is a series of workshops, talks and shows, with over 100 national and international guests, including DJs, bands, labels, producers, promoters and record collectors.

Jazz al Parque, September 19 & 20, Parque El Country

Mixing fashion, design, gastronomy, art and more, this space brings together more than 30 independent and innovative national brands.

MicroMutek.co, September 24-26, various venues
This is Bogota’s second version of the simplified version of the MUTEK Festival, dedicated to the promotion of electronic music and the digital arts.

XpoJovenES 2015, September 24-26, Colombia Joven
The first youth-focused fair, which aims to position Colombia’s younger generation at the forefront of the country’s development and peace.

Congreso Internacional de Diseño, September 24-27, Camara de Comercio Chapinero

Jazz en Septiembre, September 24, 25 & 29, various venues
The Alliance Francaise and French Embassy bring three of France’s top jazz groups to the capital – Guillaume Perret & The Electric Epic, Phillippe Sellam Trio and Norig Quartet.
